NEW LEGAL UPDATE PAGE
Hawkins’ website has now been improved with the addition of a Legal Update section which will contain legal practice guides and articles written by members of the firm on a variety of legal topics.
 
Michael Ward, Hawkins’ Senior Partner, said “We have lots of talented lawyers here with specialist knowledge in different areas of the law and there are a lot of people out there who need that specialist knowledge. We believe that our new Legal Update section will provide helpful, intelligible advice to the public and we hope that the public will see us as the only sensible choice if they need to instruct solicitors!”
 
The Legal Update section is launched with information for people buying or selling residential property. Senior residential conveyancer, Joy Savill, said “Clients often struggle to understand how the conveyancing system works and whilst we always take time to explain the process to clients, we decided to prepare a simplified guide to the conveyancing process for people to take away and read at the dead of night, when they wake up worrying about whether their transaction is on track.”
 
As well as the simplified guide to the conveyancing process there is also a guide to conveyancing searches which provides a detailed explanation to house purchasers of all the searches which are available as part of the purchase process.
