With two New Zealanders, two Australians and a Croatian appearing on the programme this will be a truly international event. Fourteen writers will be staying in the town for the weekend and will be reading their own poems to audiences and schools. They will also be available in restaurants and pubs. On Sunday afternoon they will join together to celebrate and assess two of the foremost 20th century writers who both record their centenaries W.H.Auden and Louis MacNeice. This event will be led by John Fuller who is the world authority on Auden and Anthony Thwaite who shared an office with MacNeice at the BBC. The programme can be inspected on www.lynnlitfests.com. Tickets available from Anthony Ellis at Hawkins Solicitors, telephone 01553 691661.
